Facial Services
Facials
5-7 days prior to treatment
- Skip any intensive at-home facial treatments including exfloation.
- Avoid high sun exposure and tanning beds.
Chemical Peels
7-10 days prior to treatment
- Stop use of all topical retinoids or Vitamin A derivative products.
- Stop use of all chemical exfoliants (AHA’s or BHA’s)
- Stop use of all mechanical exfoliants such as scrubs.
- Avoid facial waxing.
- Avoid sun exposure without a sunscreen of SPF 30 or greater.
- Avoid tanning beds.
Other
- Inform us if you have taken Accutane or other acne medication in the past year.
- If you have a history of HSV, have an antiviral on hand to take right before your appointment.
Microneedling
Prior to treatment
- Anticoagulant therapy including aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen should be discontinued 14 days.
- Discontinue retinoids including retinol or retin-A (tretinoin) and other skin irritants and exfoliants including glycolic or lactic acid for a minimum of 3-5 days.
- To prevent excess bleeding and minimize swelling, avoid alcohol or caffeine for a minimum of 24 hours.
Day of treatment
- If applicable, please take the prescribed antiviral medication at least 2 hours prior.
Injections
Botox
Prior to treatment
- Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, Vitamin E and fish oils for at least 1 week prior to prevent bruising.
Laser Services
Laser hair removal
6 weeks prior to treatment
- Avoid waxing, plucking, and tweezing.
- Avoid hair removal creams and chemicals.
- Avoid hair bleaching.
2 weeks prior to treatment
- Avoid tanning beds, self-tanners, and spray tans.
- Avoid incidental or direct sunlight and always apply a minimum SPF 50 sunscreen when stepping outside.
1-3 days prior to treatment
- Discontinue topical prescription products on the areas being treated
- Shave the areas being treated
Day of treatment
- Remove makeup, lotion, sunscreen, deodorant, and all other products from your skin.
Permanent Makeup
Eyebrows
Prior to treatment
- Avoid using acne or Accutane for at least 12 months.
- If you've had any facial cosmetic surgical procedures done, wait at least 2-3 months to fully heal.
- Avoid Botox for 2 months.
- Avoid glycolic acid, chemical peels and retin-a for 1 month.
- Avoid using any products that contain Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) close to the eyebrow area for 2 weeks.
- Avoid facials for at least 1 week.
- Avoid high sun exposure and tanning for 1 week.
- No brow waxing, tinting and/or electrolysis for at least 1 week.
- If possible, exfoliate the brow area 1 week prior.
- Avoid fish oils, niacin, vitamin E and ibuprofen for 48 hours.
- To prevent excess bleeding and minimize swelling, avoid alcohol or caffeine for a minimum of 24 hours.
- Avoid working out same day.
Eyeliner
Prior to treatment
- Avoid using acne or Accutane for at least 12 months.

- No Latisse for 3 weeks.
- Avoid facials for at least 1 week.

- To prevent excess bleeding and minimize swelling, avoid alcohol or caffeine for a minimum of 24 hours.
- Avoid working out same day.
Lips
Prior to treatment
- Avoid using acne or Accutane for at least 12 months.

- Avoid glycolic acid, chemical peels and retin-a for 1 month.
- Avoid facials for at least 1 week.

- If you have previously had a cold sore, take anti-viral medication 1 week prior.
- Avoid fish oils, niacin, vitamin E and ibuprofen for 48 hours.
- To prevent excess bleeding and minimize swelling, avoid alcohol or caffeine for a minimum of 24 hours.
- Avoid working out same day.
